The Whisperer (+ other titles?) is all that remains of the Firekeeper today, a faint presence that retains a snippet of his former power and only the most prevalent and important memories. Some things about himself that he has forgot but learned in the meantime come from different, conflicting sources. He is a voice, a lingering thought that lives in the small fires - candle-flames, torches, sconces, burning matches, the ash at the tips of the cigarettes, barely glowing embers, sparks of different nature. When he "possesses" a certain fire, it becomes cold while still burning bright; sometimes, he leaves behind a faint carving of a rune somewhere upon the light-source. He is naturally drawn to churches, shrines and cathedrals, for they use lots of candles, or street fairs with their many flickering lights, or hearths and forges at night, while the flames once burning within lay asleep. | The Whisperer (+ other titles?) is all that remains of the Firekeeper today, a faint presence that retains a snippet of his former power and only the most prevalent and important memories. There was once a cult worshiping the Firekeeper that grew in power significantly when he rekindled the First Glory. Later, after the Quenching, its influence diminished, and a lot of its members were hunted down. Still, a couple of sects remained and survived until today. Some of them started worshiping the Whisperer instead. Some of them even figured out who the Whisperer is.

The Whisperer
He is everywhere, for he was betrayed and scattered to the winds. He is nowhere, for he has died. But, death is not always the end.
Still, a loose spark might start a wildfire. Rare ones know about the Whisperer, especially his origins, but those who do, desire to bring forth his rekindling.
- THE REKINDLING -
"The Wood burns in the ever-changing pyre. We carry his tools and we carry his creations with us while we march between the trees consumed by him. Soon, he consumes us all, too, and we finally see his face, familiar and warm.
This History might be doomed now to get sealed and tossed away by other powers; our deed might be forgotten. It doesn't matter. He was forgotten before, after all, and then we remembered him. He is back with us, as if he has never left. He is back, forevermore, and we will together find a way out.
Let us dance like candle-flames; let his fire scorch; let the universe be his kiln."
