Lock text: Bleak, seemingly-lifeless slopes tower against the sky like the rending fangs of a giant serpent. It will be a great task to find what we seek, here. Heart will keep us from ceasing, or knowledge of the Histories recall better paths to mind.
Start text: Mundane mountains already are an obstacle for even a competent occultist. And these have been touched by a certain degree of power. It will require more than crampions and ropes to bypass these...

We call upon the Architeuthian
- Heart 10: We invoke the Dweller-in-Depths, who defies eternal all endings. It's so high here, so cold, but the aeons will rise, aeons will fall, even these mountains will one day be dust, but the Dweller-in-Depths will outlast the world. Nothing could hope to stop us.
- Heart 5: We invoke the Dweller-in-Depths, who blesses the survivor. A blizzard, compared to the endurance and ferocity of the Dweller-in-Depths, is nothing. We will likely endure.
- Heart 1: We invoke the Dweller-in-Depths, who does not fear the cold. It's a long road, a far, hard, road, but the we will have courage and continue and hopefully triumph.
- Heart Success: The mountain's chill bites and precipices menace, as well as other, stranger threats, but it is nothing compared to our spirit. We are over it now.
- Heart Failure: It... is cold... so... cold... so... cold...
Histories Invocation
Histories
- Histories 10: We invoke She-Who-Remembers, Keeper of the Librarium. Such secrets are contained there, more than one in a hundred lifetimes could read. These secrets will show us the ancient roads forgotten to time that will speed our journey.
- Histories 5: We invoke She-Who-Remembers, who rules the many Histories. We go somewhere lost and forgotten, but whatever powers may rule it, the Aged Bones influenced it. There are many strange passes and paths long forgotten, should we find them.
- Histories 1: We invoke She-Who-Remembers, who watches the Great. As we travel these mountains, we follow in the footsteps of those who did great things. The Aged Bones remembers the steps they took, perhaps we can follow them too.
- Histories Success: There, that little cave, turn left at its exit and we will find a little valley road sheltered from the winds and cold. Isn't this so much better than enduring the snows?
- Histories Failure: There, that little cave, turn right at its exit and... that's not a bear! No bear could be so vast. Where was this created? Run, run!
