The Shambling Dawn is the twelfth Hour of the Unnamed House, and the second God-From-Light to have descended from the Glory.
However, the Shambling Dawn also grew to embody another concept: the desire to have been someone else than oneself. All of his cultists try to quench this melancholic need by seeking access to the Secret Histories, in the hope of finding alternate versions of themselves with which they could trade places.

Appearance
The Shambling Dawn appears as a thick, blue cloud of smoke, compared by some to the liquid swirls of inks, and by others to the pyroclastic flow released by some volcanos, from which the form of a gigantic, headless colossus emerges: its body seems composed the same substance, as if ascending currents lifted and sculpted part of the smoke into that form. Its legs moves, walking slowly and continuously forward, his feet undiscernable from the cloud: a small star shines within each of his immaterial-looking hands. Where its head should be, an orb of pure radiance lies, maintained in place by a countless number of hands emerging from the clouds that surround it.
Principles
Just like the others Gods-From-Light, the Shambling Dawn's link to the Glory is materialized by its aspect of Lantern. Whereas the Succulent Glow embodies the appealing shine of supremacy, and the Spirarch (...), the Shambling Dawn incarnates the Lantern in its indifferent omnipresence. He's the eternal bystander, witnessing ascensions and downfalls alike.
Worship
The Shambling Dawn is sought by people who've have apparently fulfilled an important part of their destiny, but secretly feel as though they were living a life that wasn't meant for them. Some are luminaries of their fields, worried to have reached the bottom of their branch and longing for the uncertitude of new discoveries. Others are haunted by the nagging doubt of having missed an opportunity that could have changed their lives.
