The Charlatan was instrumental in the First Contact War, as it was their talent for trickery and lies that helped convince the Hours that humans were much more dangerous than they seemed. But when the rite was performed, and the Babylonians were divided, the Charlatan was quick to deny their involvement in the War. They did their best to hide back behind the veil of anonymity the Charlatan had oft used before, but with so much chaos left by the Hours, there was little left to make a veil out of. So the Charlatan changed their course. They slowly and quietly convinced the world that the Charlatan themselves didn't really have any major involvement in the War. No, they were just along for the ride, caught up in the Babylonian's plan. And after a hundred years had passed, the Charlatan was comfortably forgotten by most. Merely a folk tale once more. But the Charlatan had not been idle. They had begun to infest the Dream-City when it first began construction, and every house of chance, every casino, every high-stakes poker game has at least tentative ties to the Charlatan. The most renowned of such places, would be the Devil's Dice Casino, owned by a shady character referred to, by those who know little of the Babylonians, as Snake-Eyes. | The Charlatan was instrumental in the First Contact War, as it was their talent for trickery and lies that helped convince the Hours that humans were much more dangerous than they seemed. The Charlatan
Few have been so loved and yet so hated as the Charlatan. A tale as old as writing, of when someone talks their way into friendship, and cuts their way out again. The Charlatan is a trickster, who cares about very little other than himself, and yet is extraordinarily adept at convincing others that this is not the case. Often they are thieves masquerading as traders, murderers masquerading as employees, cheaters masquerading as talented individuals. And the Charlatan is, above all, a liar, rarely a fighter.

Current Occupations
