A Trail of Clues

Lock text: A scavenger hunt awaits us! We'll need to be able to decipher the hints left to us. Either knowledge or intuition will place us on the right path.
Start text: One little hint leading to another telltale hint leading to another… Lantern might tell us where to go, or the intuition of Moth might allow us to tread on the right course anyway.
Expeditions
- A Clever Little Treasurehunt
Requirements
- Secret Histories (Invokes the Archivist)
- Moth (Invokes the Watcher in the Window)
Secret Histories Invocation
We call upon the Archivist
- Secret Histories 10: We call upon the Archivist, who holds the records of the Great Serpent's explorations. These occultists revere a segment of that noble power. Knowledge of her father will lead us to her treasures.
- Secret Histories 5: We call upon the Archivist, who keeps knowledge unique amongst libraries. The esoteric has always been built on the bones of the strange. We'll probably track down this treasure.
- Secret Histories 1: We call upon the Archivist, who denies orthodoxy. The Archivist has never actively attempted to deceive. However, it does not fact-check. We might find our answers.
- Secret Histories Success: Ah, here it is! What elegant simplicity in these hints. And what's this?
- Secret Histories Failure: The writer of these hints was a cruel sadist. Back to square one. We will try again.
Moth Invocation
We call upon the Watcher in the Window
- Moth 10: We call upon the Lost-Named, who remembers. It surely remembers when this trail was formed. We will find what we seek.
- Moth 5: We call upon the Lost-Named, who travels in dream. The Lost-Named is an Hour well-versed in searching for clues. We should probably be able to reach the end.
- Moth 1: We call upon the Lost-Named, who yearns. Perhaps we can meld our desires together, to find the end. Perhaps not.
- Moth Success: Ah, here it is! What elegant simplicity in these hints. And what's this?
- Moth Failure: The writer of these hints was a cruel sadist. Back to square one. We will try again.
