Grail Invocation
We call upon the the Fanged Bramble
- Grail 10: We call upon the the Fanged Bramble, who grows without end. Even in the foul muck of the Sunken Place, the Fanged Bramble grows strong and hale. The worst of poisons shall only fuel our hunger for more. We will pass.
- Grail 5: We call upon the the Fanged Bramble, who blooms toothsomely. Plants know poisons more intimately than any living thing. That will probably protect us.
- Grail 1: We call upon the the Fanged Bramble, who feasts upon the Dead. It can consume even this foulness. It might eat us as well.
- Grail Success: An intoxicating distraction. The sights, the smells, the tastes! We course through a feast hall, dancing between waiters carrying plates of delicacies. We come back to reality gnawing on the bones around us.
- Grail Failure: A dizzying cloud. The air is full of beauty, perfumed mists and weeping flowers. It's all very nice, but we awaken miles away from our treasures, curled up with each other. Now we have to go back.
Heart Invocation
We call upon the Caladrius
- Heart 10: We call upon the Caladrius, who knows all the ills of mortals. The Caladrius protects and heals, and nothing is beyond its ability. We shall make it through.
- Heart 5: We call upon the Caladrius, who heals. Physical ills are well within the realm of the Caladrius. It will probably stave off a horrible death.
- Heart 1: We call upon the Caladrius, who refuses death. The Caladrius is protective of humans, but it can do more harm than aid due to its inability to understand. We might survive.
- Heart Success: A pleasant walk. Our bodies have been hardened against the impact of these poisons. The air is bitter, but we can clean and retrieve what we came for without trouble.
- Heart Failure: Not safe enough. Our protections are not enough to protect us against the billowing cloud, but they are enough to allow us to escape it. We'll have to try again, now.
