The Chainbinder hides.
The Keyless keeps.
The World's Boundary encroaches.
The End Denied stalls.

He was cut from the stone; he was cast from the light; he arose from the blood; he was born from the flesh; now he lies in between, waiting.

Description

History

FNORD (mysterious)

Appearance

The Chainbinder is

  • the spaces, hollows, cracks, and dents in the wall;
  • the creaking of the door that can't quite close;
  • the key with worn off teeth that can't open the lock it was made for anymore;
  • the wind that blows from every direction;
  • the rejection the writer faces when the publisher discards their manuscript;
  • the trembling "no" of a grieving lover;
  • the waves crashing onto the shore over and over again;
  • the surface of a still lake on a windless day.

Principles

The Keyless is the Hour of denial. His chains sprawl around the world like weeds and he doesn't allow them to be broken. He embodies the status quo, the reverting and negating of changes.
