The Fangs-Divided
The Fangs-and-Spots is no one creature. It is a vast pack of Mansus-beasts, dominated by a single commanding consciousness. This consciousness is viciously territorial, and any who enter their hunting ground will find themselves fighting, or more likely fleeing, for their life. However the Fangs-and-Spots is also an excellent guard, and due to its nature has spent its time protecting many precious things. When the wall broke, they sought to devour all humans who dared pass through, proving yet another trial. Now, however, things are different. Members of the pack patrol the wall with the Boatman and the Porter, and a great deal more prowl through the halls of the mystic library that surrounds the Well, not as librarians or custodians, but as guard dogs, to rip whatever mortals they find to pieces. Thankfully, the library is very large, and the chances of coming across one of the pack members is relatively slim. There is always need for caution, however, and at the Well itself, the greatest beast of the Fangs-and-Spots resides, with its three monstrous heads, and blood-matted fur.

Description
History
The Fangs-and-Spots presides over a faculty of life that has existed since the first beast came crawling out of the mud. Territorialism. Keeping one's home safe from intruders, and destroying those who seek to claim it for themselves. Though it had little need to protect anything before the wall came down, after its collapse, the Fangs-and-Spots found purpose. Specifically, a purpose in hating these two-legged mortals with a loathing that only the truly ancient could manage. Many members of its pack can be found prowling amongst the more precious locations behind the wall, not that anyone would ever want to come across one of these beasts. They are an avid participant in the war against humans, and have made frequent hunting trips to their city of glass and steel, but are always rebuffed.
Appearance
The pack is formed of many indescribable creatures, but far more are the describable ones. Wild dogs, hyenas, jackals, coyotes, are all just examples of some of the land animals that are part of the pack. When flight is needed, there is an extraordinary number of geese in the pack, and a host of sandbar sharks allow them dominion in the less dry areas of their home. As for land animals, there is strangely enough never anything that could not be called canine. While many cats are often territorial one would never find them as part of the Fangs-and-Spots.
Principles
The Fangs-and-Spots presides over maliciously protective forces. Things that are guarded jealously, and snap at those who come too close.
Worship
Cult
Very few mortals worship the Wild Gods, and those who do are often seen as mad or insane. The rare humans that worship the Fangs-and-Spots call themselves The Pack Divided. They live in ways very similar to the human stereotype of 'preppers.' With the exception of each others company, extremely solitary, stockpiling weapons and supplies. They forsake mortal custom and take what they want or need by force, and will protect their home with their lives.
Mark
- Temptation: Solitude: These humans are pathetically complex, with their treachery and backstabbing. I am loathe to call myself one of them.
- Dedication: Territory: I have heard of some who shed themselves of mortal shackles, and ascended under the great hunt. What an excellent opportunity to shed my humanity.
- Ascension: The Pack: I never leave my house during the day. The people walk the roads then, and I cannot bear to see their disgusting forms.
- Ascension: The Pack: I have begun to stockpile food and weapons. I can go days without leaving this place. My home. My territory.
- Ascension: The Pack: I have stopped trying to wall on two feet. My bones are misshapen, by human standards, and my clothes have been shed in favour of a thick fur.
- Ascension: The Pack: I have a pack of lowly dogs that I have beaten into submission. They would follow me to their deaths, and they will follow me unto my ascension.
- Ending: I ascended into the dream-world, leaving my old body behind. My new form was a canine of some sort, and I ran rampant through the metal city of the lowly humans. They eventually drove me out, but I went beyond the wall, searching for my new pack. And when I found them, we ran through the Wood in celebration, hunting whatever came across our path. We will never die, for we are many.

The Hunting Grounds
These are the claimed grounds of the Fangs-and-Spots. To enter them is to forfeit your life. You will be hounded by the full might of the near-infinite pack and if you do not flee, very, very far away. You will certainly be slain. But, walk just outside the edge of the grounds, and you will see the eyes watching you, and the growl warning you. This is the best place to communicate with the Fangs-and-Spots. Where it is unlikely to hunt you, for you provide no challenge, and have not yet trespassed.
The Histories
When the Wall was first opened, the Fangs-and-Spots were among the first to come through the hole, and assist in destroying the human dream-settlement.
