The Affixed King was the first of the Hours from Nowhere to descend upon the Orphean Reach and extinguish the great ambition of the Mansus. The Affixed King was the first of the Hours who descended the Glory to meet with the earliest Mansus and the first Gods-from-Stone. The Affixed King is the vile conqueror and eraser of the past who seeks to subjugate all the world and freeze it in a perpetual stasis where defiance against it has never been. The Affixed King is the radiant knight-paragon and defender of an eternal utopia who sacrificed everything for a brighter world. What is undeniable is that the Affixed King is among the first of the new order of Hours, glorious and dreadful.

Description
History
The Affixed King wages a war on the past. Its history is not as it was and its history is not as it shall be soon. Excavate one ruin and what you will find shall depend on how the Once-and-Ever has touched it. Once, the Affixed King ushered a new age as it came from the Glory, a perfect ideal world as it reshaped a Mansus-palimpsest into an endless kingdom of idyllic sprawling nature and pristine cities and towns. Once, the Affixed King came from Nowhere and destroyed the Orphean Reach, blinding the visions of the Oracle-in-the-Cave and bringing an age of endless war and horror that has yet not ended. An archaeologist, their mind properly shielded and tempered against horrors and their political and physical safety ensured, might look at the latter. From the safety of the third-person, we can surmise the truth of the latter.
The Affixed King would change the world perhaps more than any of the other Hours. Yet it is perhaps the most conciliatory of the Nowheres who were not born of treaty. It was it which dealt with Nemesis and brought from her Coda, and it was it which dealt with the Chairman and brought peace to humanity. Yet since the dreadful peace, it has not had a peace. It is a god not complete until it has succeeded, and it is a god whose nature cannot but expand. It has waged a war in the shadows since then, against the very Hours it brought peace with. The Histories have been shattered, they are prime to be rewritten. And the Affixed King shall be the one who shall ever-ever be.
Appearance
The Affixed King is as much an idea as a being. It is a god of the history, it is a god of the past, and that is a thing that a single living being cannot simply be. But when the Affixed King must take form, it appears not as a creature but a world, a Camelot of endless bright fields and
Principles
The Affixed King sheds the histories that were, like the moth and its skin. The Affixed King shall replace them with a new, false light, its very awful Latern of its own.
Worship
Cult
All worship the Affixed King. It is not possible to do otherwise, for after all, you have done it for eons. Alternatively, none but a few deluded men, hunted by the Suppression Bureau do. One are true, or both are true.

Candlelit
Candlelit of Flooding Dusk is mercy for what should not be known. Appearing as a cowled, shrouded form bearing a candle, Candlelit of the Flooding Dusk brings the light that illuminates long-ago parchment destroyed or sealed and gleans secrets erased or suppressed. An invocation of Candlelit and the light of their flickering flame reveals the secrets of the foe.
Extinguishment-of-Dawn
And when the presence of the sun falls at last and the creeping twilit world comes, such is the doing of the Extinguishment-of-Dawn. This emanation of Flooding Dusk is its wake, the inevitable falling of light and the decay of the sun that shall not be denied. All things end, even the sun's rays.
Twilit
Twilit of Flooding Dusk is mercy for places and occasions that should not be.
Night-of-Terrors
By twilight, as the last of the sun fades, so does the last of sight. As the night finally creeps in and the pitchest dark drinks greedily of the world, one may step in. One may not necessarily step out again, for where you see nothing there may lurk teeth and knives and fangs and claws and death. In the wake of Flooding-Dusk, comes a Night-of-Terrors, and comes waxing murder in all its forms, unseen forms not for their invisibility, but for in the night, there may lie legions and you may yet see nothing.
Locations
The Mansus
Deepest Black
The new sanctum of Flooding Dusk bears no resemblance to its old kingdom. No light illuminates this land of shadows, for in remembrance of the sibling it lost, the Dusk would not replace its radiance. Those who could see anyway do not speak of what they do see. In the night comes peace and succor, and with it as well, all the things that yet go bump and creak, the crueller children of the Night.
The Histories
The Land of Forever Night
The northernmost and southernmost parts of the world have been consumed by midnight. It is the realm of the Flooding-Dusk, yet it is a demesne it does not frequent or take care of. In that dark, then, terrible, monstrous creatures hide in this land of forever night, in this land of certain death.
Aurora Universalis
Once, there was a brilliant array of dancing lights, following the pilgrimage of the sun. In the northern places, in the Land of Forever Night, there is a mercy writ in the heavens. A last promise by an Eventide Council that, of course, does not exist - that they will yet return, and the world will again be kind and merciful. And in that mercy, it is said, is an ocean of secrets and power.
