==Description==

The Storyteller, also known as either the Ravelling Tree or the Tree of Knowledge is a God-From-Blood. It is the Wild God of Stories, Knowledge, and Information.

History

The man from whom the Ravelling Tree would sprout has largely been forgotten, but his the basics of his story are still known. Born in a time before written words or stories, he fell victim to a great danger and lay bleeding his life out in a cave. With the last of his strength, the drew the first message upon the wall in his blood, a warning of "danger" so that his fellows might be spared his fate. This moment was the birth of a new concept: a message that could outlast and exist separately from sender. From the blood of this now-nameless man the Ravelling Tree was formed.

Appearance

The Storyteller takes the from of a great birch tree with blood-red leaves. In place of black marks, writing covers its bark, thin as paper. The bark is always peeling and shedding pages of writing to be replaced with new ones, signifying how knowledge is constantly being forgotten and replaced with new knowledge.
